Spring 2026 Press Internship
The Democratic Staff of the House Energy and Commerce Committee seeks a motivated and creative full-time, paid Communications Intern for an immediate start in January 2026. The Communications Intern will work closely and collaboratively with a fast-paced communications team on both digital and traditional press projects. Qualified candidates should have demonstrated graphic design experience, strong writing skills, and an eye for engaging social media strategy. Knowledge of video editing software is a plus.
Responsibilities may include:
- Designing graphics
- Editing and captioning videos
- Compiling daily press clips
- Photographing hearings and events
- Drafting content for social media platforms
- Measuring social media success
