Pallone Blasts Latest Trump Administration Efforts to Restrict Children’s Access to Vaccines

Energy and Commerce Committee Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) released the following statement after the Trump Administration announced additional actions to restrict children’s access to lifesaving vaccines including Covid, Hepatitis A and B, Influenza, Meningitis, Rotavirus, and RSV: 

“Let me be clear, children will die as a result of today’s actions by the Trump Administration to bypass scientific and evidence-based vaccine recommendations. This crusade against safe and effective vaccinations must be stopped before more lives are lost. We are already in the midst of record high measles outbreaks across the country and a bad flu season. Now, Secretary Kennedy is going to allow more deadly diseases to spread in our schools and playgrounds across the country.  

"Secretary Kennedy is putting the lives of all Americans, and especially our nation’s children, in harm’s way. He should be fired immediately before he does any more damage.”
