May 10, 2022

Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Environment and Climate Change Subcommittee Chairman Paul Tonko (D-NY) announced today that the Environment and Climate Change Subcommittee will hold a hearing on Tuesday, May 17, at 10:15 a.m. (EDT)in the John D. "Whether it's protecting our fundamental right to safe water, enforcing clean air protections, cleaning up PFAS forever chemicals, or combating the growing climate crisis, never before has the EPA's mission been so urgent or so crucial to our collective well-being," said Pallone and Tonko. "Thankfully, the Biden Administration's budget request recognizes that environmental health is public health and makes critical investments in our communities.
