Pallone on Passing of Congressman Donald McEachin

Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) released the following statement today on the passing of Congressman Donald McEachin:

"I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend and colleague Congressman Donald McEachin after a long and courageous battle against cancer.

"On the Energy and Commerce Committee, he was a passionate advocate for aggressively tackling the climate crisis and ensuring that environmental justice communities were not left behind. He also fought to close the digital divide throughout the nation, but particularly in the rural communities he represented in Virginia.

"Congressman McEachin's voice will be greatly missed on the Energy and Commerce Committee in the upcoming Congress. His family and congressional staff are in my thoughts during this sad and difficult time."
